L'année des anciens.
Assez peu de premiers albums ou de "découvertes". Et une année de rattrapage de lacunes sur un certain nombre de classiques (Velvet Underground, Nick Drake, Who...). Ceci explique cela ? Pas si sûr.
A noter que ce fut une année riche en concert (peut-être une trentaine en tout), dont un bon nombre d'excellente tenue.

I don't think 2000 was a tremendous year for pop music, as 1999 had been (see dEUS, Venus, GbV, my top-three last year). Big stars made damn good and promising albums (Kid A), but no groundbreaking stuff ; newcomers were rare and modest (except ATDI). But all of the music presented below is certainly worth a listen, and the top-five are definitely must-haves (in all categories).

Une année terrible.
A mon très humble avis, une très grande année pour la pop musique. Avec en tous cas l'album-monument du meilleur-groupe-du-monde en n°1, dix autres chef-d'oeuvres indispensables à sa suite, et neuf galettes excellentes pour compléter.
